Working on silage clamps in the winter months can be a laborious, difficult, sometimes dangerous and wet task. It is a job that most don’t enjoy and one that could be made more simple and safer, especially when you have clamps side by side separated only by a thin wall with no safety support.
CBS understand these problems and we have come up with the U shaped Agri-wall that brings many benefit compared to other silage clamp systems. The U shaped wall can be used at the perimeter or in between silage clamps and storage bays, to ensure you have safe silage clamps on your farm.
The U shape Agri-walls are designed to be filled inside with a gravel / soil to form a safe working platform, ensuring the safety of operatives when working at height.
The top of the U channel provides a safety barrier in many cases reducing the need for hand rails. The channel can also be used to store gravel bags improving time spent when filling/ taking out from the clamp.
Another advantage of the U wall system is the increased drainage solutions that are available, allowing for more simple separation of leachate and rainwater drainage designs.
The AGRI-U wall really is one of the most effective way of constructing safe silage clamps and although the unit cost maybe higher than compared to some other rtaining wall systems, not many products will offer this level of performance and safety in one system.
