We worked with a developer in Hertfordshire to supply 138 metres of precast retaining wall for a new bungalow development. The CLF10GS wall system was used to create a perimeter around the property, retaining landscaped areas and managing level changes across the sloping site.
With sleek architectural lines and a masonry paint finish, the wall not only provides structural support, it also enhances the visual appeal of the entire plot.

SJ Finn completed the installation over a week. Units were placed on a compacted base with a sand-cement blinding layer, so no poured foundation or fixings were needed.
Once in place, the painted finish was applied directly to the exposed face, creating a sharp, rendered look with minimal post-install work.
Why CLF10GS Was the Ideal Solution
The site layout included multiple changes in direction and level, requiring precision-manufactured corner units and seamless transitions. Sloping top units were used to follow the angle of an external staircase, maintaining both form and function.
The developer wanted a clean, high-end finish, so once installed, the walls were coated with masonry paint to achieve a smooth, rendered look. The uniform surface and vertical face of the CLF units made painting quick and efficient, with no need for cladding or external rendering.
