Working on a split-level site is always challenging, and late design changes required many foundations that were not initially planned. This was a test for us to keep everything on track for the University at a critical stage, and meant they had to be very flexible indeed. Reckli Retaining Walls
Reckli walls are standalone precast retaining units with a decorative textured face, providing a clean architectural finish straight from the mould. Perfect for residential developments where visual quality is important – whether it’s a boundary wall, a landscaped terrace, or a communal garden feature.
StoneboxTM System
StoneBoxTM is a modular, gabion-style steel cage designed to attach directly to CLF or DLF units. Once installed, the cage is filled with stone on-site, creating the appearance of a gabion retaining wall, without the large quantity of stone or lengthy installation times associated with traditional systems.
Flexible and made to fit any groundworks project
No two projects are the same, and our retaining walls are designed with that in mind. You can choose from a wide range of heights, lengths, and wall types to suit different ground conditions, boundary layouts, and site levels.
Sloping, stepped, and curved sections are all possible, making them ideal for sloping sites or complex layouts.
The units can also be clad in stone or brick, making them a smart choice for projects where the visual finish is important.
Stepped Foundation With Level Top
This layout is ideal for sloping sites where a consistent wall height is needed. It allows you to follow ground levels while maintaining a straight, level finish at the top of the retaining wall.
Level Foundation With Sloping Top
This layout is perfect when you need a level foundation but want the wall to follow a changing ground profile. The top of the wall steps down gradually, making it a great fit for landscaped banks or tiered sites.
External Radius (Concave Wall)
This layout is for retaining walls that need to curve outward, commonly used around roads, raised areas, or landscaping features. All radius walls are custom-made, and we’ll work with you to get the design and dimensions right for your project.
Internal Radius (Convex Wall)
This layout is designed for retaining walls that curve inward, typically used when space is tight or when the wall wraps around a recessed area. We’ll help you get the right radius for your layout and loading requirements.
