Earth Bank Silage Clamp Panels

Large-scale clamp capacity. Simple, sloped design.

What makes our panels different?

Our Earth Bank Silage Clamp Panels are specifically designed for large-scale silage storage, providing all the structural integrity of precast concrete, combined with a sloped face and earth bank support. This distinctive profile allows safe vehicle access right to the edge of the clamp, making it easier to compact the crop and maximising clamp capacity.

Manufactured to the same high standards as our other retaining wall systems, these angled panels are quick to install, easy to maintain, and designed for lasting performance in agricultural, anaerobic digestion and biogas applications.

  • Earth bank support – 23° sloped panel angle allows vehicle access to the top of the wall
  • Rapid installation – panels and seating channels are delivered ready to install
  • High storage capacity – ideal for AD and biogas clamp walls
  • Robust and low maintenance – built for life on high-demand agricultural sites
  • Two panel heights available – 3.1m and 4.1m
  • 2.4m panel length – consistent unit size for easy handling and layout
  • Complete installation system – with seating channels, fixings, and accessories supplied
  • Designed to last – precast in C60/75 concrete, manufactured to EN standards

Performance and reliability for silage clamps

These precast panels are specifically designed for anaerobic digestion plants and agricultural silage storage facilities, where efficient crop compaction and leachate control are essential.

The sloped design allows operators to drive directly onto the clamp wall, enhancing crop compaction, while the earth bank provides lateral support with a minimal structural footprint. This system maximises storage capacity without compromising safety or structural performance.

The quality of the precast products from CBS is excellent. The decision was made to utilise existing earth banks on the outer walls of our clamp as a base for forming new, 3m-high precast earth bank retaining walls. Because we would be storing a variety of crops, a central dividing wall was built using their precast AGRI T-walls, which has definitely improved how we manage our AD feedstock.
