Biogas facilities often need taller and longer silage clamp walls than traditional farms, as well as heavy machinery for loading and compacting silage. Our AGRI range is specially designed for this environment.

Design for the job
We supply retaining wall systems for all key infrastructure components on AD and biogas sites.
All units are manufactured with self-compacting C60/75 concrete and are designed to comply with Eurocode EN 1992, EN 206, and BS 8500, as well as XA3 exposure class.
Each wall interlocks for structural continuity and alignment, and every order includes the guidance and accessories you need for safe installation.

While our precast walls are designed for long-term durability, AD environments can be chemically aggressive, particularly from leachate at the base of the silage clamp walls.

While our precast walls are designed for long-term durability, AD environments can be chemically aggressive, particularly from leachate at the base of the clamps.
To extend service life, we recommend:
- Plastic lining or surface coatings at low levels
- Chop size between 6–8 mm and dry matter content ≥33% for maize
- Proper ensilage angles and compaction procedures
Installation & accessories
All systems are supplied with:
- Installation instructions
- Joint sealant - Sika TS Plus, foam backing rods and primer
- Fixing-free installation (no drilling, no additional plant, no HAVS risks)
Every precast concrete wall system is interlocking to ensure correct alignment and structural consistency.
